NEP Call for Proposals: Tackling the Implementation Gap in Education Reform, Mobilizing Civil Society in Cambodia

NGO Education Partnership (NEP) in cooperation with DVV International is seeking proposals for an EU funded project “Tackling the Implementation Gap in Education Reform, Mobilizing Civil Society” with an aim to improve educational services in Cambodia through the stronger and more structured engagement of Civil Society in public service monitoring, collective advocacy, and efforts.

NGO Education Partnership (NEP) is a membership organization that promotes active collaboration between NGOs working in education and advocates on behalf of its member organizations in policy meetings and discussions with the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) in Cambodia.

The project aims to build the capacity of CSOs working in Cambodia specifically on education to participate more fully and more effectively in local governance and decision-making, influencing national and local policy to improve the equity and inclusivity of education service delivery, and respond confidently in strengthening local accountability.

Priority Areas

Civil society organizations can apply for grants in the following areas:

Funding Information

Grants will be available for between $5,000 and $20,000. The assessment of appropriate grant size will include the duration of the proposed project, the number of partners, and the potential impact and reach of the project. Sole applicants will be eligible, but applications from up to three NGOs / Associations working in partnership will be strongly encouraged.

Duration

Project grant duration will be between 3 months and 18 months.

Eligibility Criteria

The Civil Society Foundations in Cambodia are eligible to apply.
