Is your organisation a company, public institution, NGO or knowledge institution? And do you want to cooperate in a public-private partnership in order to contribute to sustainable development goals (SDGs) in developing countries?  If yes, then apply for SDGP to get support for your project.

With the SDG Partnership facility (SDGP), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) as the executor, aims to help achieve the following sustainable development goals in developing countries:

These are key goals which cannot be solved by one party. That is why the SDGP works with partnerships between government, businesses, NGOs and/or knowledge centres. Combining the expertise of these parties is essential for finding innovative solutions to complex challenges. Partnerships are capable of aligning interests and bridging differences so that major steps can be taken towards attaining the SDGs.

During the second call, PPPs could submit project proposals with one of the following themes:

SDGP Focus Areas

The SDGP programme is a far-reaching facility. A major part of the SDGP are the subsidy tenders. The 2nd tender focuses on stimulating private sector development and improving food security in developing countries through public-private partnerships (PPPs).

Projects contribute to one of more of the following focus areas:

Budget Information

The available budget for the second opening call is €30 million. Applicants can apply for a subsidy of at least €500,000 and at most €3 million per project.

Eligibility Criteria

Application

Please take the following steps to apply: For both steps you require eRecognition (eHerkenning) level 2 or 2+. If you do not have eRecognition, apply for it online via the eRecognition (eHerkenning) website. Remember to take into account that it will take at least 3 working days to receive your eRecognition token.

Concept note

The applicant (Dutch organisation only) can submit their Concept note in digital form up to and including October 1, 2019. Please fill in the digital form of the Concept note and submit it together with the Concept note as attachment. The Concept note can be found below under Downloads at the bottom of this page. You will receive a notification in response to your Concept note within 4 weeks with a CN number. You will need this number when you submit your subsidy application when the tender opens.

Applying for the subsidy

The first tender has now been closed. You may submit your subsidy application for the second tender between 15 November 2019 and 16 December 2019, 15:00 CET. Please note you will need a CN number (see step 1) to apply. When filling out your application form, please include the mandatory documents. You can find the formats for the required attachments and guidelines on mijn.rvo.nl (in Dutch).
