The New Zealand High Commission in Pretoria invites applications under the New Zealand High Commission Fund to support community-based projects that contribute towards sustainable development in selected countries in order to reduce poverty and contribute to a secure, equitable and prosperous world.

The New Zealand High Commission Fund supports small scale and short-term capacity and skills development projects implemented by organisations in Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The High Commission Fund can be used to support short-term community development projects in the areas of, but not limited to, sustainable agriculture, food security, environmental sustainability, capacity and skills building and job creation. In this round of applications, the New Zealand High Commission also invites qualifying organisations to submit applications towards COVID-19 response and recovery projects.
