The Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs’ (OES) Office of Environmental Quality (ENV) at the U.S. Department of State (DOS) is pleased to announce the Notice of Funding Opportunity for the project Air Quality Management Community of Practice in Maritime Southeast Asia.

This project will build a regional community of practice to convene air quality experts, decisionmakers, community groups, the private sector, and other air quality practitioners and stakeholders.

Duration: Period of Performance: 36 months

Geographic Focus

The primary geographic focuses of this project will be Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, but work may also benefit Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Laos, and Cambodia.

Eligibility Criteria

OES welcomes applications from U.S.-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations subject to section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. tax code; foreign-based non-profit organizations/nongovernment organizations (NGO); Public International Organizations; Foreign Public Organizations; private, public, or state institutions of higher education.
