The Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) Office of Multilateral Affairs (EAP/MLA) at the U.S. Department of State (DOS), announces this Notice of Funding Opportunity (“NOFO”) for ASEAN Logistics Support.
Under this NOFO, EAP/MLA seeks an implementer to provide logistics support primarily to the ARF, a preventative diplomacy forum established in 1994 and encompassing a 27-country list of participating countries. The ARF holds approximately 35 events per year, of which 6-10 are coordinated by the U.S.
Goals
- Ensure logistics arrangement are made in a timely manner taking into account any identified special considerations.
- Develop and maintain an accurate budget for each event.
- As requested, issue pre-post event surveys, take notes during events, draft event reports.
Funding Information
- Award Ceiling: $790,000
- Applicants should include an anticipated start date in September 2022 and the period of performance should be 36 months.
Activities
To achieve the goals and expected results, the program could include the following:
- Travel arrangements including transportation and hotels.
- Conference/meeting services including printed materials, audio visual equipment, translation, conference rooms, registration and catering.
- Onsite coordination support for events.
- Notetaking and report drafting.
Eligibility Criteria
- EAP welcomes applications from U.S. Non-profit/non-governmental organizations (NGOs) having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, or overseas-based non-profit/non-governmental organizations, and U.S. and overseas private/state institutions of higher education.
- For-profit and commercial firms are not eligible to apply in response to this NOFO.
