The U.S. Department of State, Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI) announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that build networks and/or civil society coalitions to strengthen women’s leadership in climate adaptation, mitigation, and resilience efforts focusing on the use of STEM-based solutions and opportunities in the green and blue economies.

Goal: Women-led or gender-responsive networks and coalitions are supported to implement community-led, STEM-informed solutions that mitigate or promote adaptation to the negative effects of climate change.

The following countries are current priorities for this NOFO. Final country approval is subject to approval and funding restrictions: Fiji, Marshall Islands, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Micronesia, Philippines, Tonga, Kiribati, Mongolia, Samoa, Tuvalu, Laos, Nauru, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Malaysia, Palau, Thailand, and Vietnam.
