Deadline: 09-Oct-20
The Nordic Culture Point has launched the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture to strengthen artistic and cultural cooperation in the Nordic region and the Baltic countries.
The programme focuses on increasing the exchange of knowledge, contacts and interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture. The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme comprises three forms of funding: mobility, network and residence funding.
Funding Information
- For networks which will work together for up to one (1) year, it is possible to receive funding of up to EUR 20,000 but the grant from Nordic Culture Point may comprise maximum 70% of the total budget.
Eligible Activities
Network funding enables periods for cooperation, exchange of ideas and knowledge between professional artists and cultural workers in the Nordic region and/or the Baltic countries.
Network co-operation entails, for example:
- series of joint meetings, conferences, workshops, staff exchanges and joint courses
- activities such as pooling resources and skills in order to develop initiatives that influence public opinion or to work together on scheduling and structuring tours
- the establishment of a platform that can lead to larger international projects later on.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only professional artists and other professionals in the field (such as curators, producers, translators, cultural editors or researchers) within all culture and art forms can apply for funding. You can apply for funding as an individual, group, organisation or institution.
- “Professional” means that you have documented experience of work within the field of art and culture and/or have studied art or culture.
- In order to apply for network funding, the applicant(s) should reside in the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the Åland Islands) or Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) but it is not necessary for applicants to have Nordic or Baltic nationality.
- The network should comprise partners from three Nordic and/or Baltic countries (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and the Åland Islands).
