The Asia Gender Equality Fund, aims to support transformative initiatives and solutions by non-profit organisations, focusing on improving economic outcomes for women and girls in Asia.
Round Three of the Asia Gender Equality Fund, supported by Fondation CHANEL, Gates Foundation, and Minderoo Foundation, is dedicated to mobilising bold and equitable investments towards gender-just climate action and interventions.These interventions will address the distinct challenges women face due to climate change and empower them to achieve economic security.

- Fund raise and deploy USD 25 million within the next five years.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for consideration, your organisation should meet the following criteria:
- Be a registered non-profit organisation operating within APAC
- Possess a well-defined plan of the solution with potential for scalability, feasibility and impact.
- Organisations must be able to provide 2 recent years of audited financial reports.
- if your organisation has multiple sub-entities registered across multiple markets, each sub-entity is welcome to submit a separate application.
- If your organisation is a registered Non-Profit organisation in your market of operation, then you are eligible to apply.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Should not be the following:
- Religious organisations
- Included in the US or EU sanctions list, nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency
- This fund is only eligible for legally registered Non-Profit Organisations.
