Organizing Youth CO: Lab Australia Programme 2021

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched Organizing Youth CO: Lab Australia Programme 2021 to examine the needs of young Indigenous Australians and identifying solutions to support their empowerment and well-being.

Young people, service providers (NGOs and social enterprises), private sector, government and policy makers, academics, and representatives from charitable foundations will be engaged to participate in the dialogue event which will include experiential and capacity building workshops prior to the event.

Scope

The proposed activities will focus on awareness-raising on issues and barriers for youth to attain health and well-being, as well as building engagement to address such issues with a focus on exploring the use of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Partners to be engaged will include the public sector, academics from tertiary education institutes, private sector, youth organizations and other relevant stakeholders. The proposed activities will include:

Duration 

The overall duration of work should be no less than 8.5 months (15 December 2022– 31 August 2022). The expected date of completion of the programme is 31 August 2022, however they will keep UNDP informed of any delays during the process.
