The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a Cooperative Agreement from qualified entities to implement the Building Health Families Activity.
The Building Healthy Families Activity aims to expand access to and utilization of essential health care in Pakistan, including quality family planning (FP) and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) services, in order to improve health outcomes for some of its most vulnerable populations.
Priorities
- adapt and implement progressive policy reform;
- improve universal access to services to lower fertility rates;
- address information and service needs in remote areas;
- generate momentum for the National Narrative 2020-2021;
- ensure contraceptive commodity security;
- utilize legislation mechanisms to protect and steer FP goals;
- institutionalize human development; and
- establish and maintain an effective monitoring and evaluation system to serve FP.
