Partnerships for International Development Fund: Seeking Applications from New Zealand

Apply Now for Community Development Fund - Australia

Deadline: 28 July 2017

The New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is seeking applications for its Partnerships for International Development Fund to contribute ideas, knowledge and skills to activities that achieve sustainable economic development in developing countries.

The Partnerships Fund supports partnerships led by New Zealand-based organisations to develop and deliver locally owned responses to development challenges in countries as identified in the New Zealand Aid Programme Strategic Plan. The Partnerships Fund has a core focus on sustainable economic development with a focus on the Pacific.

The Partnerships Fund is contestable – applicants must apply for funding by presenting a case or ‘concept’.  Activities have to be in keeping with the strategy and priorities of the New Zealand Aid Programme, and must include partnerships with local organisations in the developing country (in-country partners).

Objective

The Partnerships Fund aims to harness New Zealand expertise and knowledge to drive sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction in the developing countries with which the New Zealand Aid Programme works. The Partnerships Fund seeks to encourage and support new partnerships and innovative approaches to address development challenges in line with the New Zealand Aid Programme’s strategic goals, with a particular focus on sustainable economic development in the Pacific region.
