Apply for the PowerOn Community Tech Grant program, designed to meet the tech needs of the PowerOn Partner Centers.
With a deeper understanding of the critical reliance on technology for center operations and client resources, this grant provides the technology necessary to support community centers and their staff in their work serving the LGBTQ+ community.
The purpose of the Community Tech Grant is to provide technology that can be used in a center’s physical space, by staff members working remotely or in the field, and to support day-to-day center operations. Technology for client personal use will now be available through the PowerOn Individual Tech Grant.
Benefits
Apply to receive up to ten devices for in-center or organization staff use. Eligible devices for this grant include:
- Laptops
- Cell phones
- Tablets
- Desktop computers
- Printers
What Devices Can You Expect?
- Usual brands include Lenovo, HP, Brother, and Blu but vary depending on availability. They are not able to accept requests for particular brands. All devices are sufficient to meet the basic computing and communication needs of the recipients and include WiFi capability and cameras.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this grant, organizations must:
- be a 501(c)(3) organization
- be based in the United States or U.S. territories
- primarily serve members of the LGBTQ+ community in the U.S. or territories
