The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry under the implementation of the Fostering Productive Innovation Project is announcing the call for proposals for the Productive Sector Consortia I Grant Program: Competence Centers.

The Grant Program aims to establish competence centers to address the systemic industry problems by developing new technologies (R&D), modeling and improving production processes on a laboratory scale (model factory), analyzing and preparing recommendations on development of the industry.

A consortium is a temporary voluntary equal union (association) based on an agreement on joint economic activity, in which legal entities combine certain resources and coordinate efforts to solve specific problems.

A scientific and educational consortium is a temporary voluntary equal association based on an agreement on joint economic and scientific activity, in which scientific organizations, higher educational institutions and other legal entities, including those employed in the field of production, combine intellectual, financial and other resources for conducting fundamental, applied scientific research, developing technological innovations and training highly qualified specialists.
