The United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BiH) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, funded by the Government of Japan has announced a public call for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) from carbon-intensive industries for technical and financial support for the implementation of decarbonization investment projects.

Technical and financial support for the decarbonisation of at least 20 SMEs is provided under the second component of the Inclusive Decarbonization (IDA) project, and consists of:

The purpose of this set of activities is to support SMEs in transition to low-carbon development, by exploiting the potential of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies, with the ultimate goal of mitigating or eliminating the dangers and negative impacts of fossil fuel dependence on their future business and development.

The goal of the IDA project is to take initial steps in introducing a mechanism for a fair transition to a low-carbon economy and to implement the NDC Established Contributions in BiH in a fair and gender-sensitive manner, leaving no one alone.

Geographical Focus

Within the framework of this public invitation, the ICP applications that are registered on the territory of BiH are acceptable.
