Refugee Community Grant Fund in the US

The Omaha Community Foundation (OCF) is seeking applications for the Refugee Community Grant Fund to support initiatives and organizations that benefit this community in Omaha.

The Omaha Community Foundation is in partnership with an advisory board to aid in funding decisions, however, in the coming months this board will transition to an all resident-led decision making group. The committee will be comprised of representatives from refugee populations who understand what investments will be most impactful in addressing the needs of their community.
 
Funding Priorities
 
Funding priorities include, but are not limited to:
Applications that demonstrate collaboration among multiple organizations are encouraged. Refugee representation (among clients served, management, staff, and board members) is considered during the decision making process.
 
Funding Information
 
Up to $50,000 in grant funding will be awarded per grant cycle. Funding requests may not exceed $5,000. The average grant award is $1,000 to $5,000.
