The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – FEMA is accepting applications for the 2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) Program which focus on all-hazards emergency preparedness, including the evolving threats and risks associated with climate change.

The Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) provides state, local, tribal and territorial emergency management agencies with the resources required for implementation of the National Preparedness System and works toward the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient nation.

Objectives

The primary objective of the FY 2022 EMPG Program is to provide funds to assist state, local, tribal and territorial emergency management agencies to implement the National Preparedness System (NPS) and to support the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient nation.
