Request for Proposals for Technical Assistance and Training Grant Program (US)

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is now accepting proposals for the Youth E-Cigarette Prevention and Cessation Initiative: Technical Assistance and Training Grant Program.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to provide new funding to one organization as a Technical Assistance and Training (TA) Provider to lead and coordinate statewide youth engagement activities, convene collaborative efforts with grantees and other partners, and support the grantees in capacity building efforts.

Goals

The overall goal of this initiative is to reduce youth e-cigarette and commercial tobacco use in Minnesota by 25% by 2026. MDH will measure progress through administration of the Minnesota Youth Tobacco Survey (MYTS) and compare to baseline levels from the 2019 Minnesota Student Survey (MSS) and 2020 (MYTS).
