The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector is requesting proposals for the People Development Third Sector Grant Facility.
The grant facility is designed to facilitate partnerships with the third sector to allow for the development of citizens, social inclusion, and national development goals through strategic, community-based interventions.
The initiative supports Government’s long-term commitment to national empowerment through inclusive growth, skills development, and community engagement. It reflects the Ministry’s focus on building resilient, capable citizens who are prepared to lead and contribute to sustainable social and economic transformation.
Priority Areas
- Proposals submitted must align with at least one of the seven strategic priority areas. They are education and training for people with disabilities; innovation and enterprise; competency-based education and training for emerging sectors; health and wellness; youth engagement; life skills development and the care economy.
Funding Information
- Under the facility, grant funding will be offered up to BDS$30,000 per approved proposal to third sector organisations which are advancing sustainable development and people empowerment across the island.
Criteria
- The proposals will be evaluated against six key criteria:
- Operational capacity
- Relevance
- Effectiveness and feasibility
- Sustainability
- Scalability
- Budget efficiency.
- The top three proposals will be recommended for funding.
