The UMngeni Municipality is looking for registered and reputable Non-Governmental Organizations and Non-Profit Organizations to submit written and detailed proposals to undertake an Anti Substance Abuse Activity.
The programme must be implemented within the Wards of uMngeni Municipality, targeting young people during the month of June 2025.
Funding Information
- The proposals must not exceed R10,000 in value.
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested NGOs or NPOs must:
- Be reputable,
- Must be willing to conduct a presentation on their proposals for funding,
- Must provide a close out report
- Importantly NGOs or NPOs must:
- Be from within ungeni Municipality,
- Be adequately accredited,
- Must have a proven track record.
Application Requirements
- Interested NGOs or NPOs must include the following in their submissions:
- A detailed proposal(s)
- Must include how their proposal will impact the targeted audience,
- Must include detailed financials,
- Must be aware of substance abuse challenges among the youth in the uMngeni municipal area,
- Must be registered either as an NGO, NPO or any other relevant and acceptable body within the parameters of the laws of South Africa.
