The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal for Delivering Integrated Local Peacebuilding Solutions.

Having identified the unique drivers of conflict in Hela and Southern Highlands provinces, UNDP will implement within the broader framework of the UN Highlands Joint Programme a KOICA-funded project – Addressing Conflict & Fragility in the Highlands in Papua New Guinea contributing directly to the programme objectives, outcomes, and outputs, particularly in supporting the creation of peaceful and enabling conditions for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Hela and Southern Highlands Provinces.

Specific Objectives

UNDP Papua New Guinea Focus Areas: Development challenges in Papua New Guinea are as diverse and complex as the country itself. To respond to these challenges, UNDP in PNG concentrates its efforts on building the country’s capacity to promote inclusive, pro-poor growth, effective governance, and sustainable and resilient development. UNDP helps its partners in identifying relevant solutions to today’s complex, transboundary development challenges. Guided by the UNDP’s PNG country document (2018-2022), its work focuses on PEACE, PROSPERITY and PLANET.
