Deadline: 25-Sep-20
The Juanita Sánchez Community Fund provides support for Rhode Island’s Latino community by offering grant assistance to nonprofit organizations working for the betterment of the Latino community in the state.
The Juanita Sánchez Community Fund was established in 1992 through the contributions of friends and family of Juanita Sánchez to memorialize her life as a leader, organizer, and long-time believer in fighting for the unmet needs and rights of Latinos.
For more than 100 years, the Rhode Island Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of Rhode Islanders. They partner with generous individuals, families, organizations, and corporations that share their commitment to the state, as well as with nonprofit organizations that provide the “boots-on-the-ground” services that make Rhode Island a better place to live, work, and play.
The Rhode Island Foundation is led by a board of professional and community leaders with the highest commitment to excellence. Working together with our staff team we strive to make our vision for a better Rhode Island a reality for all.
