Deadline: 07-Jan-2025

The Rutland County Council is excited to announce the launch of the Rutland Skills Boost Grant, a funding opportunity designed to help local organisations address workforce skills shortages and enhance training capabilities.

The Rutland Skills Boost Grant aims to support one of the key objectives of the Rutland Economic Strategy: To cultivate skilled workers in quality local jobs. By promoting lifelong learning, and reskilling opportunities—especially in future technologies, digital skills, and green skills. The grant will empower organisations to invest in the capabilities needed to thrive and invest in the workforce of Rutland.

This grant is specifically targeted at funding local skills needs, including technical and vocational qualifications and courses up to Level 2, training for vocational licenses, and high-value qualifications where additional skills are required. It aims to supplement existing adult skills provisions and provide more intensive or innovative training opportunities.
