SASGP: Strengthening Social Cohesion in Sri Lanka

Call for Proposals: Canada Fund for Local Initiatives in Sri Lanka

Deadline: 17-Sep-21

The Asia Foundation is seeking applications for Strengthening Social Cohesion in Sri Lanka. This call for proposals is through the “Strengthening Social Cohesion in Sri Lanka” project, implemented by The Asia Foundation with support from Global Affairs Canada.

This two-year project aims to build capacity for local civil society organizations (CSOs), especially those focusing on strengthening women’s networks and movements to ensure that local communities, particularly women and girls, and marginalized groups, benefit from greater social cohesion and improved community resilience in Sri Lanka.

This project will strive to enable a safe and secure environment for all communities, especially youth, women, and girls, through equitable access to local information and services, inclusive engagement in decision-making, and a strengthened sense of civic education and civic responsibility.
