Applications Open for the Mid Wisconsin Foundation Legacy Fund.
The Mid Wisconsin Foundation Legacy Fund was established as a donor advised fund within the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin when the Mid Wisconsin Foundation was dissolved in 2013 as a result of the bank’s merger with Nicolet Bank.
An advisory committee reviews submitted applications and makes periodic recommendations to the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin regarding grant distribution.
Funding Information
Awards generally are not more than $1,000, but exceptions may be made for certain situations.
Eligibility Criteria
Requests for funding are limited to nonprofit organizations that serve Wisconsin communities where Mid Wisconsin Bank once operated:
- Abbotsford
- Colby
- Eagle River
- Fairchild
- Medford
- Minocqua
- Neillsville
- Phillips
- Rhinelander
- Rib Lake
- Rib Mountain
- Wausau
Requests are limited to support:
- Health and Human Services
- Community, Cultural, and Economic Development
- Educational and Vocational Programs
- Environmental Enhancement
