Applications are now open for the Rural Women New Zealand Education Fund.

Applicants will need to indicate the benefit of their study to the wider community as well as to their personal development. Preference will be given to applicants who live in smaller centres or rural areas. The course to be undertaken must be offered by a recognised education provider.

Funding Information

The Education Fund is a one-off grant of up to $500 available to people aged 25 years and over who wish to further their skills, training or education.

Applications will be considered by the Rural Women New Zealand Bursary Committee, which is appointed by the National Board of Rural Women New Zealand. Applications will be acknowledged by the National Office upon receipt. Applications will be treated as confidential and are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act.

Applicants will be notified of the Bursary Committee’s decision which will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The Committee reserves the right to check with successful applicants on the outcome of their studies. This grant is payable for one year only per application.
