The Catholic Foundation of Michigan is inviting proposals for the 2021 Competitive Impact Grant Program.
Focus Areas
Impact Grants address needs within the Catholic Foundation of Michigan’s three focus areas:
- Empowering Social Outreach: Supports programs that respond to vital social services needs such as food shelter, medicine for the sick, hope for those in despair and vulnerable within the community.
- Building Vibrant Parish Life: Provides assistance to parishes and programs that create a strong parish environment.
- Fostering Catholic Education and Formation: Grants to faith formation for people of every age. They encourage all stages of educational and spiritual development to enhance vibrant discipleship.
Priorities
Priority will be given to Impact grant requests that:
- Build on a community’s assets and distinctive attributes through best practices and innovation
- Foster collaboration and coordination of multiple partners or ministries
- Expand education, service and outreach while building vibrant communities in line with Catholic values
- Measure and demonstrate results
- Ensure sustainability when funding ends
Funding Information
- Empowering Social Outreach – $1,000.00 – $5,000.00
- Building Vibrant Parish Life – up to $1,000.00
- Fostering Catholic Education and Formation – up to $1,000.00
Eligibility Criteria
Before submitting an online LOI, please review the following requirements:
- Nonprofit entities in Michigan that serve communities primarily in Michigan
- The mission, values and behaviors in line with Catholic Teachings
- Organization is a U.S. 501(c)(3) with audited financial statements
- Addresses one or more of the grant making priorities.
