The Support Foundation for Civil Society in cooperation with the Turkey Mosaic Foundation and with the support of individual and institutional donors in the content partnership of the Cultural Policy Studies section of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts is seeking applications for its Culture and Art Fund.
With the Culture and Art Fund, support will be given to the development of institutional capacities and projects of cultural and artistic institutions and NGOs operating in the field of culture and arts. Thus, the adaptation of civil actors towards this new era will be supported.
Principles
At least one of the following principles is expected to be included in the studies to be supported under the fund:
- Aiming to realize artistic production and/or to create the necessary conditions for production for the sustainability of the culture and art field during the COVID -19 epidemic,
- Content design and/or artist to focus on the creative use of digital tools that improve access to culture and arts in their practices,
- To develop cooperation models that encourage solidarity and interdisciplinary collaboration between individuals or institutions in the field of culture and arts.
Funding Information
- The total amount of the grant to be distributed to CSOs within the scope of the Culture and Arts Fund is at least 320,000 TL.
- The applicant NGO can request a maximum of 80.000 TL from the grant program.
- The duration of the supports should be no more than 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following application criteria to wake up and organizations with legal personality may apply for a grant program:
- established associations in Turkey, foundations, cooperatives and other non-profit does not (does not apply for the status of the company that organizations),
- 2019 or more
- NGOs that have been actively working in the field since before, – With revenues between 30.000 TL and 1.500.000 TL in 2019, – Culture-art institutions and / or NGOs operating in the field of culture and arts.
- Professional associations and charities and social assistance and solidarity foundations cannot benefit from the grant program. Applicants’ universities, companies, public institutions, and local governments, structures that do not have legal personality, etc. and such studies are encouraged.
- Only one application will be accepted from each organization. However, it is possible for an organization to be a partner of more than one application.
- NGOs currently supported by the Support Foundation for Civil Society and / or the Turkey Mozaik Foundation can apply for the grant program.
- There is no obstacle for organizations that have received a grant in the past or have applied and rejected for another grant program to apply to this program.
