The Tasmanian Community Fund invites organisations to apply for grants under their latest General Grant Round.

The Tasmanian Community Fund was established in 1999 from the sale proceeds of the Trust Bank to directly benefit the community by making grants to community organisations.

The Fund receives an annual appropriation in perpetuity. In 2018‐19, the appropriation was $6.7 million. This appropriation covers all Fund costs, including grants and administrative expenses.

The Tasmanian Community Fund also set aside a proportion of funding for targeted grant rounds to fund projects in areas which will make a significant difference to their community. They have had eight such rounds:

A wide range of projects which support community wellbeing, increasing workforce engagement, community infrastructure, leadership and capacity building and meeting community need.
