The Community Foundation of North Central West Virginia is seeking applications for its Taylor County Charitable Interest Fund to encourage, create, market and manage endowment funds originated by individuals, families, businesses and organizations throughout the area.
YCF invests these donated funds to increase their value, and distributes the net earnings from those investments to deserving recipients, as specified by the donors, in the form of scholarships and grants.
At YCF, they seek to develop, promote and coordinate charitable giving for the good of the community. Through their financial resources, they are able to extend many forms of assistance to qualified people, programs and projects. YCF’s underlying goal is always to enhance the quality of life for those they serve.
Eligibility Criteria
- This grant is to be used to support charitable purposes in Taylor County, West Virginia. Open to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations or public institutions operating in Taylor County, including public schools.
- Applications are accepted from non-profit organizations who are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or public institutions operating in Taylor County, West Virginia. Note: YCF generally does not provide grants for an organization’s on-going operational expenses, fundraising campaigns, endowments, political purposes, travel, or work training.
