Deadline: 15-Nov-21
The Tillamook County Cultural Coalition (TCCC) is offering its grant to build Participation in Local Arts, Heritage and Humanities.
The Tillamook County Cultural Coalition (TCCC) seeks to expand the awareness of the unique county culture. In doing so, they establish ways to honor and celebrate the arts, humanities and history that are part of the own story. In the process, the citizenry becomes more educated about the most valuable natural resource – the people in the community. The result is a more active, interested and creative environment in which to live and share lives.
Priorities
The Coalition uses the following priorities, identified by county citizens, to select projects to receive funding:
- Education: Projects relating to cultural education in grades K-12, and the greater community.
- Community Arts: Projects relating to a county-wide cultural event.
- Heritage: Projects relating to documenting history or restoration.
- Environment: Projects relating to open space and natural beauty.
- Traditions: Projects relating to traditional arts and food culture.

Grant funds available to the TCCC by the Oregon Cultural Trust, in recent years, totaled just over $8,000. Individual grant awards ranged from $500-$2,000.
