The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) is seeking applications for Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Evaluation and Research Grants Program.

OPA will consider evaluation and research projects that explore new questions in teen pregnancy prevention, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and family planning more broadly that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of these programs for adolescents or young adults, and/or reduce existing disparities. These grants are for projects that can be conducted within one to two years, such as secondary data analyses using existing program and evaluation data or administrative data. Each award will be funded either through the Public Health Service Evaluation Program or the Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program.

The purpose of this initiative is to fund projects that will evaluate and explore new questions in teen pregnancy prevention that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of teen pregnancy prevention programs for adolescents or young adults and/or reduce existing disparities.

Eligibility Criteria

Any public or private entity located in any one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, Republic of Palau, Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands is eligible to apply for a grant under this announcement. Community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American (AI/AN/NA) organizations are eligible to apply.
