The Logan City Council is now inviting applications for its Tertiary Education Bursaries Program.
Logan City Council and some of the most respected organisations in South East Queensland have combined their resources to provide financial assistance to young people in Logan who wish to undertake tertiary studies.
Students from families with limited financial resources are encouraged to apply.
Funding Information
- Successful applicants receive a $5,000 bursary in instalments for each semester (or trimester) of a three-year course.
Eligibility Criteria
- Are you:
- currently completing Year 12 and demonstrating commitment to your studies
- a resident of the City of Logan
- planning to undertake full-time undergraduate tertiary studies in 2023
- in need of some financial assistance to realise your goal.
How is the decision made?
- All applications that meet the selection criteria and the 2022 City of Logan Tertiary Education Bursary Policy will be reviewed by a selection panel in January 2023.
- Applications will be rated according to:
- academic ability
- educational highlights
- motivation to succeed
- financial hardship
- personal/social circumstances.
