The Canaan Foundation is accepting grant applications for up to $2000 to organizations supporting residents of North Canaan. The Canaan Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Town of North Canaan.
To fulfil this mission, The Canaan Foundation awards grants to not-for-profit organizations for community programs and projects in such fields as education, the environment, recreation, the arts, health, and social services.
In March 2020, The Canaan Foundation distributed $26,000 in grants to 24 local organizations that serve the North Canaan community.
