The Pittsburgh Foundation seeking Applications for Lemington Home Fund – US

Small Business Grants in the US

Deadline: 29-Jul-21

The Pittsburgh Foundation is seeking applications for its Lemington Home Fund to benefit African American Seniors.

For several decades, Allegheny County has had one of the nation’s highest concentrations of older adults and has developed a strong and diverse network of services to meet their needs. However, this population shift points to the likely increased need for home and community-based supports, acute services and cost-effective care management to keep seniors healthy and safe in the community.

Purpose

The Lemington Home Fund was established to support a continuum of care that includes community-based services, in-home supports, personal care homes, assisted living facilities and nursing home facilities. The Fund will be used for the benefit of low and no-income seniors, with the intention of primarily serving the African American population of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
