The Trusts Community Foundation Grant Program (New Zealand)

Deadline: 1-Jan-23

The Trusts Community Foundation Grant Program is now open for applications.

The Trusts Community Foundation Limited (TTCF) is a not-for-profit company established primarily to distribute the profits generated from Class 4 gambling machines operating in bars and restaurants in many parts of New Zealand. The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) is the main regulatory authority for this sector.

DIA places a lot of emphasis on personal integrity as well as ensuring that societies are taking all steps to try and minimise any negative impacts of Class 4 gambling. TTCF is totally committed to supporting the venue personnel by proactively providing them with training and support on an ongoing basis.

It is well publicised that the percentage of players adversely affected by Class 4 gambling machines is relatively low and so they also are focussed on ensuring that the bulk of players actually enjoy the time they spend in their gaming machine areas. They therefore place a lot of emphasis on providing their venues with the latest games and technology as well as ensuring that venue personnel keep the customer in mind at all times.
