The Women’s Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation is offering its Annual Grant Program to local nonprofits and public entities who seek to address the overall mission to create a better future for women and their families in the Redding area.

The Women’s Fund of the Community Foundation began in 2008 with the purpose of addressing the persistent challenges facing women and their families in the Redding area. The Women’s Fund is part of a global movement of Women’s Funds throughout the world, making a difference through collaborative philanthropy.
Program Priority: Grant applicants must address The Women’s Fund mission which is to “create a better future for women and their families in the Redding Area. The services provided by organizations funded through grants from The Women’s Fund must take place within and include residents of the Redding area which is defined as Cottonwood (within Shasta County) to the South, Shasta Lake City to the North, Palo Cedro to the East, and Igo/Ono to the West.
Funding Information
Each year, the Cabinet decides the total amount of grant funds to be awarded and may specify a dollar limit for individual proposals (e.g. $50,000 awarded in total and no more than $25,000 awarded to a single organization/entity). In recent years, TWF has awarded a total of $45,000-$50,000 in grants annually.
Eligibility Criteria
Local nonprofits with a public, 501(c)(3) status and public entities are invited to apply for funding each summer.
