The Creative New Zealand has announced the applications for the Toi Tipu Toi Rea – Emerging Maori Artist Fund to support them in their artistic careers.
There will be the opportunity to meet other emerging and established artists, as well as learning more about Creative New Zealand and the art sector.
Each year the capability programme will be created around the unique needs of each cohort. Artists will be asked to identify the professional skills they would like to learn to build their business capability.
Funding Information
- Amount: $5,000 to $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria

They accept applications from:
- Individuals who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents
- New Zealand-based organisations
- International arts organisations. But the application must show benefits to New Zealand arts.

- Your project or activities must directly benefit New Zealand arts, artists or practitioners.
