The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) is currently seeking applications “Regional Assistance Program (RAP) II mechanism” to establish a mechanism to respond to emergent needs, especially snap elections, and support civil society actors through near-term technical or other assistance.

The Regional Assistance Program (RAP) II will enable NEA, U.S. Embassies, and civil society throughout the MENA region to respond to unanticipated, often sudden developments, such as supporting election monitoring during snap elections or advancing dialogue at critical junctures through technical assistance.
