The U.S. Department of Education, Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) is seeking applications for its “Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education (Javits) Program”.
The Javits program supports evidence-based research, demonstration projects, innovative strategies, and similar activities designed to build and enhance the ability of elementary and secondary schools nationwide to identify gifted and talented students and meet their special educational needs.

- Special district governments
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education

- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
- City or township governments
- State educational agencies; local educational agencies; the Bureau of Indian Education; IHEs; other public agencies; and other private agencies and organizations.
