The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is seeking applications for rigorous program evaluation of specific services for victims of crime.

The goals of the victims of crime program of research are to improve knowledge and understanding of services related to violence and victimization and fill critical research gaps. The program aims to provide objective and independent knowledge through rigorous evaluation as a way to reduce violence and advance effective services for victims.

The objective of this program is to conduct research in social and behavioral sciences having clear implications for criminal justice policy and practice in the United States.
