The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is seeking applications for its grant program entitled “Specialized Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance and Resource Development”.

Under this program, a victim of trafficking is defined as a person who has been subjected to a “severe form of trafficking in persons,” which, as defined in 22 U.S.C. § 7102(11), means:

Activities supported through all of the projects funded under this solicitation should be victimcentered, trauma-informed, and should promote the dignity and self-sufficiency of survivors and improve their access to resources and services.
