U.S. Department of State announces Countering Trafficking in Persons in Ukraine

Request for Proposals: Watchdog Reporting for Positive Changes in Georgia

The U.S. Embassy Kyiv, through the Public Affairs Section’s Democracy Small Grants Program and Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is inviting Ukrainian NGOs with an aim to preventing and combating trafficking in persons (CTIP) in Ukraine, prosecuting and punishing traffickers, and protecting trafficking victims.

Through this competition, the Democracy Small Grants Program and INL seek innovative approaches to supporting anti-trafficking initiatives, including raising public awareness, protecting vulnerable groups, supporting victims, advocating local governments to increase their involvement with combatting human trafficking, strengthening cooperation between the public and the legal system, and educating the public, law enforcement, and other stakeholders about anti-trafficking legislation.

Project proposals must clearly promote one or more of the following themes:

Funding Information

The maximum funding available for a single grant is $50,000 U.S. dollars (USD), they anticipate most awards will be in the range of $10,000 – $24,000 USD.
