Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program in Czech Republic

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor (DRL) is seeking applications for its program “Promoting Religious Freedom in Cuba” that analyze the legal framework regarding the registration of houses of worship, as well as the regulation of religious speech, assembly and activities.

This analysis should draw on the expertise of on-island experts and experienced legal professionals to analyze the legal and regulatory restrictions facing on-island religious groups and faith-based organizations, including but not limited to the use of the formal registration process, as a means to regulate religious institutions and restrict the practice of religion.
