The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Security-Nonproliferation (ISN) is inviting eligible entities for its “Iraq CBW Threat Reduction Activities”.

ISN/CTR sponsors foreign assistance activities funded by the Nonproliferation, Anti-terrorism, Demining and Related Programs (NADR) account, and focuses on mitigating proliferation risk in front line states and regions where terrorist threats are on the rise, such as in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

ISN/CTR administers Iraq CTR’s activities in partnership with government, security, academic, public health, and industrial communities to strengthen their ability to prevent CBRN attacks. Iraq CTR secures chemical and biological weapons-related assets (such as chemical and biological materials, equipment, technologies, expertise, and infrastructure) against terrorist networks intent on conducting CBW attacks.
