U.S. Department’s Fish and Wildlife Service: Applications Open for Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund

The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), U.S. Department of State, is currently seeking proposals for the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund (RTCF)  for the conservation of African rhinoceroses.

In response to the alarming decline of rhino and tiger populations, the US Congress passed the Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Act in 1994, Congress passed the Act provides for the establishment of the Rhino Tiger Conservation Fund to be administered by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to provide financial assistance to support projects that work to conserve populations of rhinos and tigers in the wild.
