CFPs to Support the Implementation of Follow-up Youth Initiatives

Deadline: 14 December 2017

U.S. Embassy in Algeria is currently inviting applicants for its MEPI Student Leaders Program 2018 which is an intensive five-week exchange program to the United States for approximately 60 undergraduate students from the Middle East and North Africa. It offers outstanding undergraduate and graduate students from across the MENA region an intensive leadership training course.

Students attend U.S. academic institutions where they develop leadership skills and expand their understanding of civil society and participatory governance and how both may be applied in their home communities. Students are divided among U.S. academic institutions (Georgetown University, Montana State University, the University of Delaware, and Portland State University).

The program will run from June 25 to August 04, 2018 in the United States and will include coursework/trainings as well as field visits to complement and reinforce the concepts explored in the academic residency. All students are expected to travel to the United States unaccompanied.
