The U.S. Embassy in Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS has announced a call for project proposals for the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) for 2018.

Proposals will be considered for projects that seek to preserve cultural heritage in Antigua and Barbuda; Barbados; Dominica; Grenada; St. Kitts and Nevis; St. Lucia; and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Funding Areas

Through the AFCP program, the U.S. Department of State supports projects that adhere to the following guidelines and international standards for the preservation of cultural heritage.  These activities may include:
