The U.S. Embassy in Australia is currently inviting Australian organizations and individuals to submit proposals for funding of programs and activities that increase mutual understanding between the U.S. and Australia and promote the bilateral relationship.

- U.S. policies, society, culture and values
- Cultural diversity
- Academic integration and advancement
- Promotion of STEM
- Countering violent extremism
- Global challenges such as climate change, clean energy, human rights, economic development, health, LGBTI issues, and marginalized populations.
Funding Information
Most grants funded are in the $5,000 to $15,000 range, though proposals for higher amounts will be considered if the project is of particular value to the advancement of the U.S.-Australia relationship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications from a variety of individuals and organizations are welcome, including but not limited to: non-governmental/civil society organizations, think tanks, educational institutions or subsets thereof, and non-profit organizations.
- Prior programmatic experience is desired, along with experience managing budgets.
