The U.S. Embassy in Djibouti and the Cultural Heritage Center (“the Center”) of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs has currently announced the 2020 call for proposals for the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) Small Grants Competition.

The AFCP competition demonstrates the United States’ commitment to protecting cultural heritage. In Djibouti, the AFCP competition aims to preserve historic buildings, archaeological sites, ethnographic objects, paintings, manuscripts, and indigenous languages and other forms of traditional cultural expression significance to Djiboutian’ s.
