U.S Embassy in Rwanda: Ambassador’s Small Grants Program

The U.S. Embassy in Kigali is seeking applications for its  “Ambassador’s Small Grants Program (ASG) former Ambassador’s Special Self-Help (SSH) program” to provide a one-time grant designed to support high-impact, quick-implementation activities which benefit a large number of people within one year without requiring further assistance.

The objective of the ASG program is to provide small-scale assistance to community-based development projects that have immediate impact while encouraging communities to be self-reliant and undertake similar activities on their own in the future.  ASG is part of an ongoing commitment by the U.S. Government to support development activities and welfare of the local community.

The Embassy requires prior registration with RCA in order receive funding.  All applicants must provide a copy of the certificate of registration and license from the RCA submission package.  Direct funding for NGOs, individuals, public international organizations, foreign governments, parastatal organizations, educational institutions, or U.S. Government departments and agencies is not available under this announcement.
